The Greenlee Utility 43180 Circular Saw is intended forgeneral tree trimming from the ground or from an aerialdevice. A rugged, direct-drive motor provides enoughpower for the 9″ diameter blade to cut branches upto 89 mm (3-1/2″) in a single pass. The angled headallows flush cuts while directing saw chips away fromthe operator. The long-reach pole allows cutting in areasthat shorter tools cannot reach.
The patented Super Spool design allows the toolto be used with either open-center or closed-centerhydraulic systems. The dielectric property of the fiberglass pole reduces the chance of an electric shockwhen the saw is used near energized electrical line.Other features include a hand-stop safety collar, a safetytrigger, and a trigger guard.
