The PRM-100 Phase Rotation Meter is used to determinewhich is the leading phase of any two phases of athree-phase conductor system. The PRM is a dualrange, 0-5kV and 0-15kV, device that can be usedas high as 45kV when optional resistor sticks(R-45)are added. It consists of two sticks with aconnecting cord and ground lead.
Phase rotation is determined by takingreadings on the two phases; first in onedirection, then the other. The meter willindicate which phase is leading andwhich is lagging. The PRM-100 can beused in overhead applications with the includedprobes, or underground by adding the appropriateunderground probes for your application.
