Megger TPT420 Two-Pole Voltage Tester
The Megger TPT420 Two-Pole Voltage Tester is designed to provide electricians & electrical engineers with a simple, intuitive voltage indicator compatible with both AC and DC voltages. This device can measure AC voltage between 12 to 1000 V and DC voltage between 12 to 1500 V. The TPT420 will even continue to alert the user of a present voltage once the batteries have been completely exhausted. Including a continuity function within 0 to 500 kΩ and a frequency range of 40 to 400Hz, this unit can be applied to numerous situations such as automotive, fire alarm & solar/PV systems.
Featuring an array of test functions, the Megger TPT420 is a highly versatile instrument. Single pole voltage tests can be performed between 100 to 1000 V AC (50/60 Hz) and continuity tests function with both visual & acoustic indicators. The phase rotation indicator provided by this tester has been simplified as opposed to similar devices, the TPT420 avoids the crossing of test probes now required by some two-pole testers. On any circuit protected by an RCD, RCBO and Safety Breaker, while testing between phase and earth the TPT420 operates below the tripping threshold to avoid unintentional disconnection.
This portable Megger Two-Pole Voltage Tester is highly compact and ergonomically designed. Including both backlit LCD and LED displays, the TPT420 comes complete with an integrated torch light and IP64 rated outer casing. AAA battery powered, rated CAT IV 1000 V it fully conforms to the latest IEC/EN 61243-3 and DIN VDE 0682-401 standards.
